I'm Speechless

Well, I'm voiceless, anyway. I ended up sleeping on the couch last night because it was too hot in the bedroom and I couldn't prop myself up the right way. This chest cold has gone from bad to worse. I didn't fall asleep until after 2:30, and that was with the aid of Benedryl (that stuff is practically Ambien to me). So, much to the probable chagrin of my boss, I am not going in today. I have absolutely no voice whatsoever -- I can't croak out a single word. And, the periodic coughing fits are no picnic either. I don't feel like spending the day fielding the "why are you even here?" questions I'm sure I will get. I think they will survive a day without me.
